Ruling

202000546501PRLA: In the Matter of Lars G Lundgren 06/04/2026 in Department J6 Hearing re: Order to Show Cause Accounting on $10,000 reserve

On 7/16/25, the Court approved a $10,000 reserve and set this OSC. Petitioner Ronald Poggi was ordered to serve and file an account on the reserve by 5/8/26.

On 3/26/26, Petitioner filed waivers for the account on reserve.

If the person entitled to distribution is an estate, a waiver of account must be made by the personal representative of that estate. (Prob. Code, § 10954, subd. (b)(5).) The current waiver for beneficiary Ann Karlsson is executed by Jimmy Thulin “on behalf of the Estate of Ann Karlsson.” The waiver by Jimmy Thulin does not state that he is the personal representative of Ann Karlsson’s estate. Accordingly, no valid waiver for the Estate of Ann Karlsson has been submitted, and the account on reserve has not been waived.

Petitioner is directed to serve and file the account on reserve, or a valid waiver of account for the Estate of Ann Karlsson, by 6/18/26. The Court will continue this matter to 7/9/26, 9:00 a.m., in J6.
