Ruling

202300575517PRGE: In the Matter of Chadroff Minors 09/01/2026 in Department J6 Account and Report 2nd Account & Report for the period of 05/01/24 through 06/30/26

In each of the accountings there are disbursements for rent, clothing, camp, health insurance, extracurriculars etc., for the minors, all of which are items that appear to be the mother’s responsibility. (Armstrong v. Armstrong (1976) 15 Cal.3d.942, 943-944.) It does not appear that mother has petitioned for these items to be paid out of the minor’s estates. Discuss.

Should guardian wish to use the estate to support, maintain, or educate the minor(s), guardian needs to file a petition pursuant to Probate Code section 2422.

Clerk to give notice.
