ORDER RE: CASE MANAGEMENT
The Court has ordered the following after review of the case.
The Court makes the following order after review of the case without a hearing:
CMC Statement(s) do not appear to have been filed. CMC on calendar to confirm mediation completion. However, at the last hearing, it was clear that Defendants' counsel may have abandoned their clients. Therefore, the Court will not issue sanctions for failing to mediate. Instead, the dates below are maintained - until and unless parties seek trial continuance (which can be done through ex-parte application).
THE MANDATORY SETTLEMENT CONFERENCE set for July 24, 2026 at 9:00 am in Dept. 302 IS MAINTAINED.
The parties are reminded that WRITTEN SETTLEMENT CONFERENCE STATEMENTS setting forth a GOOD FAITH ANALYSIS of the facts, the law and a GOOD FAITH OFFER to resolve this case from each party must be emailed directly to dept301@alameda.courts.ca.gov. All trial counsel, parties, and insurance adjusters or others with full settlement authority must participate in person.
THE JURY TRIAL DATE OF August 14, 2026 IS MAINTAINED.
