16. Guardianship of Alexander A – PP20110045 ANNUAL REVIEW
Letters of the Guardianship of the person were issued on 6/16/11. The annual guardianship status report (Judicial Council for GC-251) was not filed by the guardian. At the last hearing on April 8, 2006, the guardian did not appear and the court referred the matter to the court investigator to conduct an investigation. The investigation revealed that Minor was no longer living with guardians as they were unable to care for him. The report stated that guardianship was necessary, but since they were unable to care for him, that they should be removed as guardians. The minor instead has been living with another caregiver who has been taking good care of him. The report suggested that this current caregiver should petition for guardianship to ensure the minor’s continuity of care.
