1. Guardianship of Cecilia A. 26PR0077 PETITION TO APPOINT GUARDIAN
A Petition to Appoint a Guardian and Temporary Petition was filed on March 23, 2026. Letters of Temporary Guardianship were issued on April 1, 2026. The father signed a signed a consent for appointment of the proposed guardians. At the April 29, 2026 hearing, the matter was continued to May 13, 2026 to give proposed guardians an opportunity to serve mother with notice. The mother and proposed guardians appeared at the May 13, 2026 hearing. Mother initially objected, but then consented to the temporary guardianship pending the next hearing and also consented to the minor traveling with the temporary guardians out of the country. At the June 17, 2026 hearing, the court continued the matted to July 29, 2026 and reissued the temporary guardianship as not report had been received yet. The court still has not received the investigator’s report.
