Procedural History 18 1) The parties are Petitioner Kent Penwell (Father) and Respondent Reagan Penwell (Mother).
They 19 share two minor children subject to this proceeding: Stella Grace Penwell (DOB: 2/2/15) and 20 Kent Ryan Penwell II (DOB: 10/5/16). 21 2) On 4/17/26, Father filed a Request for Order seeking to discharge the Order to Show Cause and 22 Affidavit for Contempt Mother filed on 1/23/26. 23 3) On 4/23/26, Father filed a Request for Dismissal without prejudice of his 4/17/26 Request for 24 Order seeking to discharge the Order to Show Cause and Affidavit for Contempt Mother filed on 25 1/23/26. 26 B.
Findings and Order 27 1) Father’s request for dismissal without prejudice of his 4/17/26 Request for Order seeking to 28 discharge the Order to Show Cause and Affidavit for Contempt Mother filed on 1/23/26 is 29 GRANTED.
1 2) Father’s 4/17/26 Request for Order seeking to discharge the Order to Show Cause and Affidavit 2 for Contempt Mother filed on 1/23/26 is hereby DISMISSED without prejudice. 3 3) Counsel for Father shall prepare the Findings and Order After Hearing. 4 4) Preparation of Order: If you are directed by the court to prepare the order after hearing – within 5 10 calendar days of the hearing you must either: (a) Serve the proposed order to the other 6 party/counsel for approval, and follow the procedures set forth in CA Rules of Court, Rule 7 5.125(c), or (b) If the other party did not appear or the matter was uncontested, submit the 8 proposed order after hearing directly to the court. Failure to submit the order after hearing within 9 10 days may allow the other party to prepare a proposed order and submit it to the court in 10 accordance with CA Rules of Court, Rule 5.125(d). 11
