Motion to Consolidate Cases for Purposes and to Set Dates for Consolidated Amended Complaint and Response Thereof
2026PRTR058712: IN RE THE KAVEH FAMILY TRUST 05/27/2026 in Department J6 Motion to Consolidate Cases for Purposes and to Set Dates for Consolidated Amended Complaint and Response Thereof
Respondent Bahman Kaveh has purportedly filed a motion to consolidate this action with a civil matter, Case No. 2025CUOR048266. However, the motion is signed by Olga Anoshechkina, as attorney in fact for Respondent. An attorney in fact cannot appear in pro per for the principal, as this constitutes an unauthorized practice of law by a nonlawyer. (Drake v. Superior Court (1994) 21 Cal.App.4th 1826.) Unless Ms. Anoshechkina can show that she is a licensed attorney, the Court will order the motion stricken from the record.
The Court also takes judicial notice of the fact that in Case No. 2025CUOR048266, on 2/24/26, the civil court dismissed the entire action. Thus, it would appear that the civil case is no longer pending, making consolidation a moot issue.
