The Courts prior tentative ruling ordered Petitioner Laura Viets to recalculate her fees according to the fee schedule filed on 4/15/24. In her supplement, Petitioner responds that her 2025 fee schedule was provided with the current account. This fails to comply with the Courts order. If a professional fiduciary wishes to update her fee schedule, she needs to file a new proposed hourly fee schedule or another statement of her proposed compensation from the estate. (Prob. Code, § 2614.8.) All of Petitioners services for which she currently seeks fees were rendered prior to the date the 2025 fee schedule was filed with the court. The Court again directs Petitioner to recalculate her fees.
The Court will approve Petitioners request for periodic payments of conservator fees not to exceed $500/quarter.
The Court will approve $2,905.50 in conservators attorney fees for this account period, of which $905.50 remains to be paid. The Court will deny Petitioners request for periodic payments of her attorney fees. (Prob. Code, § 2643, subd. (c).)
Bond shall be reduced to $86,625.
