Defendant Jackson Fox's Motion for Judgment on the Pleadings is GRANTED WITHOUT LEAVE TO AMEND. No opposition filed. The Complaint fails to state a cause of action. (CCP 438(c)(1)(B)(ii).) The Notice to Pay Rent or Quit is fatally defective because it does not state the telephone number and address of the person to whom the rent payment shall be made, as required by CCP 1161(2). This defect cannot be cured by amending the pleadings. Judgment shall enter for defendant and against plaintiff.
