HUIQI TANG ET AL | Court Date: | | 2025-07-01 09:30 AM | Calendar Matter: | | DEMURRER to COMPLAINT | Rulings: | | Real Property/Housing Court Law and Motion Calendar for July 1, 2025 line 10.
DEFENDANT HUIQI TANG'S DEMURRER TO COMPLAINT is OVERRULED, 5 days to answer. The Complaint states a cause of action for unlawful detainer and is not uncertain. Defendant does not provide any authority for the implicit proposition that alleging an accurate ZIP code for the premises is an essential element of plaintiff's cause of action for unlawful detainer. The discrepancy between the ZIP codes provided for the premises in different parts of the pleading does not render the pleading so ambiguous and unintelligible that defendant cannot respond. =(501/CFH)
