DISCUSSION Plaintiff Jiezhong Li ("Plaintiff") moves for an order vacating the order of dismissal entered on June 2, 2026, restoring this action to the active civil docket, and a new case management conference. Plaintiff did not file a proof of service showing that the motion was served on defendant Los Angeles County Department of Public Social Service (DPSS) ("Defendant") as required by California Rules of Court rule 3.1300. (Cal.

Rules of Court, rule 3.1300 ["Proof of service of the moving papers must be filed no later than five court days before the time appointed for the hearing"].) Defendant did not file an opposition or response to the motion. The court therefore denies Plaintiff's motion to vacate order of dismissal.
