Ruling

(Stanley Mosk Courthouse: Dept. 534) September 2, 2026 DEPARTMENT 534 LAW AND MOTION RULINGS

brings two ex parte applications. First, is an application for extra pages for the second ex parte application. The ex parte application for extra pages is denied. There is no good cause for an oversized brief. Second, is an application for three different types of relief only one of which pertains to this case. It is a request to vacate the prefiling order. That request is denied. There is no good cause for ex parte relief nor, on the merits, is the motion well-taken. Moreover, because the court denied Mr.

Delman's request to vacate the prefiling order on March 3, 2026, he is precluded from making another such application for one year. The other requests for relief pertain to a different case, Ermel v. Etame, 25STCV05923, assigned to Judge Escalante. The common denominator of the requested relief is that Mr. Delman seeks to intervene in the Ermel litigation. Such an application cannot be made to Judge Riff in this case by ex parte application or otherwise. Both ex parte applications are denied. | Home -->)" -->
