Ruling

(Spring Street Courthouse: Dept. 1) August 27, 2026 DEPARTMENT 1 LAW AND MOTION RULINGS

James APC to be relieved as counsel for plaintiff Jason Harris. The Court previously continued the motion at counsel's request to allow them to attempt to further confer with their client. Counsel now reports there has been an irreparable breakdown in the attorney-client relationship, and most recently, that Plaintiff has consented to counsel's withdrawal and wishes to retain new counsel to continue the action. The motion therefore appears in order and will be granted. The Court will set a status conference re: retention of new counsel for November 6, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. The Court will interlineate this date into counsel's proposed order and sign it. The order will not become effective until proof of service of the order on the client is filed in this Court. | Home -->)" -->
