1. DEFENDANT KOMATSU AMERICA CORP.'s Motion To Quash Plaintiffs Complaint For Lack Of Personal Jurisdiction.
The Court GRANTS Plaintiffs' request to conduct jurisdictional discovery as to Defendants Doosan Bobcat North America, Inc., Individually and as Successor-in-Interest to Clark Equipment Company, and DBA Bobcat Company ("Doosan Bobcat") and Komatsu America Corp ("Komatsu") (collectively referred to as "Defendants".)
Accordingly, the Court continues the hearing on these motions to March 3, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. in Department 304. Plaintiff's discovery requests must be strictly limited to jurisdictional issues. Supplemental oppositions, if any, are due by February 10, 2026. Supplemental replies. if any, are due by February 17, 2026. (The Court's complete Tentative Ruling was e-served to the parties. Any party wishing to contest the tentative ruling must email contestasbestostr@sftc.org by 4:00 p.m. on the day before the hearing and state their intention to contest. If a hearing is requested, it will be on December 9, 2025, at 9:00 a.m.
