6. 26PR0155 THE ESTATE OF THE WILLIAM A. JONES & MARY H. JONES TRUST PETITION HEARING

On July 17, 2026, Petitioners, Donna Veerkamp Foster and Susan Jones Lewis (collectively “Petitioners”) filed a First Amended Verified Petition. A Notice of Hearing and Proof of Electronic Service were filed on the same date indicating the Petition, Joint Verification, and Notice of Hearing were electronically served. Probate Code § 1215(c) prohibits electronic service of notice or other paper unless the person to receive notice has expressly consented on the appropriate Judicial Council form to receive electronic delivery in the proceeding before the court and has provided an electronic address for that express purpose. The Court is not in receipt of any party’s or interested person’s consent to electronic service, rendering service improper. TENTATIVE RULING #6: PETITION IS DENIED WITHOUT PREJUDICE DUE TO IMPROPER SERVICE.
