Parties are ordered to meet and confer in person, by telephone, or by video conference, as required by CCP 430.41, no later than May 29, 2026. If the parties are unable to come to a mutual agreement regarding the date, time, and means of meeting and conferring, the parties are ordered to appear in person on May 29, 2026 at 1:30 p.m. in department 501 to meet and confer. Defendants shall have until June 5, 2026 to file a demurrer, if appropriate, or other response to the First Amended Complaint.

The Court notes that while Plaintiff's correspondence with Defendants' counsel refers to a documented reasonable accommodation request, the Court has not received any such request to excuse Plaintiff from the mandatory meet and confer procedure under CCP 430.41 in connection with this litigation. =(501/CFH)
