Minor’s Compromise Petition
Jane Doe v. Gonzalo Rios
Minor’s Compromise Petition
Hearing Date: August 7, 2026
After reviewing the unopposed minor’s compromise petition filed by Ms. Doe, as the guardian ad litem for 17-year-old Plaintiff Jane Doe (“Plaintiff), the Court hereby GRANTS the petition. The Court will sign the proposed order approving the disposition of Claimant’s net settlement proceeds to be transferred into the trust identified in Attachment 18b(7) of the Petition.
Further, it is the Court’s understanding that Plaintiff has resolved all of her claims against Defendant Gonzalo Rios. If so, Plaintiff shall file a Notice of Settlement as soon as practicable. This will enable the Court to vacate any trial-related dates and set the matter in the dismissal calendar.
