The People's unopposed Motion For Order That Requests For Admissions Set No. One Be Deemed Admitted is GRANTED. The record demonstrates the People served their Requests for Admission, Set One on Claimant Brayan Cruz-Lopez, the requests appear reasonably calculated to lead to the discovery of admissible evidence (see Code of Civil Procedure section 2017.010), Claimant did not provide any responses to Plaintiff's Request For Admissions. Set One. Claimant's failure to timely respond is not excused. No meet and confer requirement when no responses have been provided. Plaintiffs' RFAs, Set One, addressed to Brayan Cruz-Lopez, are deemed admitted by Brayan Cruz-Lopez. (See Code of Civil Procedure section 2033.280.)
