ORDER RE: CASE MANAGEMENT
The Court has ordered the following after review of the case.
ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE RE: DISMISSAL
On APRIL 08, 2025, this court admonished Plaintiff to timely comply with CRC 3.110(h) in requesting entry of default judgment. Plaintiff has failed to do so.
CRC 3.110(h) provides: When a default is entered, the party who requested the entry of default must obtain a default judgment against the defaulting party within 45 days after the default was entered, unless the court has granted an extension of time. The court may issue an order to show cause why sanctions should not be imposed if that party fails to obtain entry of judgment against a defaulting party or to request an extension of time to apply for a default judgment within that time.
OSC in re DISMISSAL for failure to timely serve and/or obtain judgment is set for APRIL 13, 2027, at 10:10am.
WRITTEN OBJECTION TO DISMISSAL showing GOOD CAUSE why this case should not be dismissed must be filed by APRIL 01, 2027. Failure to do so may result in permanent dismissal of this action and forfeiture of any and all claims raised in the complaint.
