Tentative Ruling - 07/13/2026 Elizabeth Riles
This action was removed by Defendant to federal court on 05/26/2026. A state court loses jurisdiction upon proper removal of the case to federal court. Lou v. Belzberg, 834 F.2d 730, 740 (9th Cir. 1987). Removal divests the state court of jurisdiction and "the State court shall proceed no further unless and until the case is remanded." 28 U.S.C. § 1446(d).
This matter was removed to Federal Court and has not yet been remanded.
This matter is deemed complete (No Remand from Federal Court) and is hereby administratively disposed.
In the event the matter is remanded, the parties may request, jointly or via ex parte application, that the case be restored to active case management.
Future dates are vacated.
