ORDER RE: CASE MANAGEMENT
The Court has ordered the following after review of the case.
Plaintiff has obtained Default on the only Defendant in this action on JANUARY 27, 2026.
Counsel shall obtain Default Judgment prior to the next hearing date per CRC 3.110(h).
CRC 3.110(h) provides: When a default is entered, the party who requested the entry of default must obtain a default judgment against the defaulting party within 45 days after the default was entered, unless the court has granted an extension of time. The court may issue an order to show cause why sanctions should not be imposed if that party fails to obtain entry of judgment against a defaulting party or to request an extension of time to apply for a default judgment within that time.
Plaintiff must obtain default judgment before the next CMC Statement is due or an OSC in re DISMISSAL for failure to comply with the CRC and the orders of this court may issue.
Compliance Hearing Re status of Default Judgment/OSC is scheduled for 01/27/2027 at 10:10 AM in Department 520 at Hayward Hall of Justice.
Clerk is directed to serve copies of this order, with proof of service, to counsel and to selfrepresented parties of record. The Court orders counsel to obtain a copy of this order from the eCourt portal.
