The parties are reminded that WRITTEN SETTLEMENT CONFERENCE STATEMENTS setting forth a GOOD FAITH ANALYSIS of the facts, the law and a GOOD FAITH OFFER to resolve this case from each party must be emailed directly to dept302@alameda.courts.ca.gov. All trial counsel, parties, and insurance adjusters or others with full settlement authority must participate in person.
THE JURY TRIAL DATE OF August 21, 2026 IS CONTINUED TO AUGUST 28, 2026. However, all discovery dates and other deadlines shall remain set or triggered by the prior August 21, 2026 trial date with the exception of pre-trial submissions for trial (such as motions in limine, jury instructions, witness lists, etc.) which will have deadlines set from the new August 28, 2026 trial date, see below.
The Court is currently conducting live, in-person jury trials. Please carefully review the TRIAL SETTING ORDER issued in this case and fully comply with its pretrial orders and deadlines. Courtesy copies of all MIL/OPPS and REPLIES must e delivered to Dept. 520 by August 25, 2026.

The March 5, 2026 Court Order ORDER DENYING DEFENDANTS MOTION FOR PROTECTIVE ORDER remains in place - Plaintiff's Motion to Modify the March 5, 2026 is DENIED WITHOUT PREJUDICE. The forensic accountant shall review the subpoenaed financial records as contemplated by the March 5, 2026 Order without assistance by or review from Plaintiff/Plaintiff's counsel. The parties will follow the review and deposition schedule discussed with the Court in hearing on July 10, 2026:

July 17, 2026 - deadline to meet jointly with Plaintiff's forensic accountant to answer Plaintiff's forensic accountant's questions about financial documents; July 24, 2026 - deadline to produce Plaintiff's forensic accountant's report to Defendant; July 31, 2026 - deadline for Defendant to depose Plaintiff's forensic accountant; and August 7, 2026 - deadline for Plaintiff to depose Defendant's forensic accountant (or other related expert).
After reviewing Plaintiff's forensic accountant's report and holding Plaintiff's forensic accountant's deposition, Plaintiff may request narrowed access to certain financial documents with a sufficient showing of good cause.
Clerk is directed to serve copies of this order, with proof of service, to counsel and to selfrepresented parties of record. The Court orders counsel to obtain a copy of this order from the eCourt portal.
