Petition to Compromise Minor’s Claim
(35) Tentative Ruling
Re: In re Thiago Quintero Superior Court Case No. 26CU01306
Hearing Date: July 7, 2026 (Dept. 501)
Motion: Petition to Compromise Minor’s Claim
Tentative Ruling:
To deny without prejudice. In the event that oral argument is requested: petitioner Berenize Tapia-Zavala and claimant Thiago Quintero will be excused from appearing.
Explanation:
The petition fails to attach any of the required documents in support. For example, Item 8, requires the attachment of doctor’s reports. Likewise, Item 18(b)(2) directs the petitioner to list the name, branch, and address of the proposed financial institution. The petition is denied, without prejudice.
Pursuant to California Rules of Court, rule 3.1312(a), and Code of Civil Procedure section 1019.5, subdivision (a), no further written order is necessary. The minute order adopting this tentative ruling will serve as the order of the court and service by the clerk will constitute notice of the order.
