§ 53.146 — MAINTENANCE FUND

View on source(a)A district shall have a maintenance and operating fund. The fund consists of all money collected by assessment or otherwise for maintaining and operating the property of the district.
(b)The board shall use the money in this fund to pay:
(1)all salaries of officers and employees, other than that of the assessor and collector; and
(2)operating expenses.
