Pursuant to the National Flood Insurance Program, the Texas Department of Insurance shall aid, advise, and cooperate with political subdivisions, the board, and the Federal Emergency Management Agency when such aid, advice, and cooperation are requested or deemed advisable by the Texas Department of Insurance.
