The executive administrator shall advise and assist the board and the commission with regard to engineering, hydrologic, and geologic matters concerning the water resources of the state. The executive administrator shall evaluate, prepare, and publish engineering, hydrologic, and geologic data, information, and reports relating to the water resources of the state.
