§ 1064.153 — ELECTION ORDER

(a)If, on receipt of a petition under Section 1064.152, the board finds that annexing the territory is in the district's best interest, the board shall within 90 days of the board's finding:
(1)approve the petition; and
(2)order an election on the question of annexing the territory to the district.
(b)The election order shall provide for a separate election:
(1)in the territory proposed to be annexed; and
(2)in the district.
