(a)To qualify for election to the board, a person must:
(1)be at least 18 years of age;
(2)have been a resident of the district for at least two years; and
(3)be a qualified voter of the district.
(b)An elective or appointed officer of this state or a political subdivision, including Upton County, is not qualified for election to the board. Added by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 70 (S.B. 1147), Sec. 1.01, eff. April 1, 2013. Amended by:
