§ 1056.101 — DISTRICT RESPONSIBILITY

SD § 1056.101Title 3. HEALTH · Part A. HOSPITAL DISTRICTS · Ch. 1056. MARTIN COUNTY HOSPITAL DISTRICT · Art. C. POWERS AND DUTIES

(a)The district shall admit patients to the hospital who are:

(1)district inhabitants; and

(2)able to pay for medical and hospital care.

(b)The district has full responsibility for providing medical and hospital care for:

(1)eligible needy district inhabitants who are not able to pay all or a part of the cost of the care; and

(2)eligible needy and indigent district residents.
