§ 1043.053 — QUALIFICATIONS FOR OFFICE

(a)A person may not be elected or appointed as a director unless the person is:

(1)a district resident;

(2)a qualified voter of the district; and

(3)more than 21 years of age at the time of election or appointment.

(b)A district employee may not serve as a director.
