The board may spend district money to recruit physicians, nurses, or other trained medical personnel. The board may pay the tuition or other costs or expenses of a full-time medical or nursing student who:
(1)is enrolled in and is in good standing at an accredited school, college, or university; and
(2)contractually agrees to become a district employee in return for that assistance.
