§ 1035.053 — QUALIFICATIONS FOR OFFICE

(a)To be qualified to serve as a director, a person must:

(1)reside in the district; and

(2)be at least 21 years of age.

(b)A person may not serve as a director if the person:

(1)is a district employee; or

(2)was a district employee at any time during the two years preceding the date of the election.
