A commercial gulf shrimp boat license issued under this subchapter may be transferred on the application of the licensee from a boat that has been destroyed or lost to a boat acquired by the licensee as a replacement. The commission, by regulation, may prescribe requirements necessary to clarify license transfer procedures and may prescribe, by regulation, forms to be used and fees to be charged for transfer of licenses authorized by this subsection.
