§ 94.302 — LANDLORD'S REMEDIES

Statute text

If the court finds that a tenant filed or prosecuted a suit under this chapter in bad faith or for purposes of harassment, the court shall award the landlord:

(1)an amount equal to two months' rent and $500; and

(2)reasonable attorney's fees and costs.
