(a)If the person requests a hearing in a timely manner, the advisory board shall:

(1)set a hearing; and

(2)give written notice of the hearing to the person.

(b)The hearings examiner shall:

(1)make findings of fact and conclusions of law; and

(2)promptly issue to the advisory board a proposal for decision as to the occurrence of the violation and the amount of any proposed administrative penalty. Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1999. Amended by:
