View on source(a)To qualify for the licensing examinations under this chapter, an applicant must have successfully completed a perfusion education program approved by the medical board.
(b)The medical board may approve a perfusion education program only if the program has educational standards that are:
(1)at least as stringent as those established by the Accreditation Committee for Perfusion Education of the American Medical Association or its successor; and
(2)approved by the Commission on Accreditation of the Allied Health Education Program of the American Medical Association or its successor. Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1999. Amended by:
