An expert who assists the advisory board is immune from suit and judgment and may not be subjected to a suit for damages for any investigation, report, recommendation, statement, evaluation, finding, or other action taken in the course of assisting the advisory board in a disciplinary proceeding. The attorney general shall represent the expert in any suit resulting from a service provided by the person in good faith to the advisory board.
