(a)To obtain a license under this chapter, an applicant who is foreign-trained must satisfy the examination requirements of Section 453.208.

(b)Before allowing a foreign-trained applicant to take the examination, the board shall require the applicant to furnish proof of completion of requirements substantially equal to those under Section 453.203. Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1999. Amended by:
