View on source(a)A person commits an offense if, without holding a license issued under this chapter, the person:
(1)holds the person out as a physician assistant;
(2)uses any combination or abbreviation of the term "physician assistant" to indicate or imply that the person is a physician assistant; or
(3)acts as a physician assistant.
(b)An offense under this section is a felony of the third degree.
