View on source(a)The physician assistant board consists of 13 members appointed by the governor with the advice and consent of the senate as follows:
(1)seven practicing physician assistant members who each have at least five years of clinical experience as a physician assistant;
(2)three physician members who are licensed in this state and who supervise physician assistants; and
(3)three public members who are not licensed as a physician or physician assistant.
(b)Appointments to the physician assistant board shall be made without regard to the race, color, disability, sex, religion, age, or national origin of the appointee. Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1999. Amended by:
