§ 51.127 — RECORDING MEMORANDUM OF LEASE

(a)The commissioner shall prepare a descriptive memorandum of the lease at the time the lease is executed and deliver the lease and the memorandum to the lessee.
(b)The lessee shall deliver the memorandum of the lease to the clerk of the county in which the land is located.
(c)The clerk shall record the memorandum in the county clerk's office.
(d)On payment of the recording fee, the clerk shall deliver the recorded memorandum to the lessee. The lessee shall provide to the commissioner a certified copy of the recorded memorandum. Acts 1977, 65th Leg., p. 2427, ch. 871, art. I, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1977. Amended by:
