The fee for "Returned Check" under Section 118.011 is for a check that is presented to the county clerk in payment of taxes or any other item the person owes to the county and is returned by the depository bank or any other financial institution because of:
(1)insufficient funds to cover the check;
(2)a closed account;
(3)an unauthorized signature;
(4)a check drawn on uncollected funds; or
(5)any other reason considered to be the fault of the drawer.
