View on source(a)The workers' compensation self-insurance fund is a fund in the state treasury. The fund may be used only for the regulation of certified self-insurers.
(b)The department shall deposit the application fee for a certificate of authority to self-insure in the Texas Department of Insurance operating account to the credit of the division.
(c)Any amount remaining in the fund at the end of a fiscal year shall be used to reduce the regulatory fee assessed under Section 407.102 in the succeeding fiscal year. Acts 1993, 73rd Leg., ch. 269, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1993. Amended by:
