If a nonprofit legal services corporation receives a complaint concerning the performance of an attorney connected with the corporation, the corporation shall refer the complaint to:

(1)the supreme court of this state or a person that the supreme court designates to receive attorney grievances from the public, if the attorney is licensed by this state; or

(2)the appropriate licensing agency of another jurisdiction where the attorney is licensed, if the attorney is not licensed by this state. Added by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1419, Sec. 1, eff. June 1, 2003. Amended by:
