§ 885.157 — ISSUANCE OF PRELIMINARY CERTIFICATE OF AUTHORITY

If the purposes of a fraternal benefit society conform to the requirements of this chapter and all provisions of law have been complied with, the commissioner shall:

(1)certify that the society is in compliance with all provisions of law;

(2)retain and record the articles of incorporation or association; and

(3)issue to the society a preliminary certificate of authority.
