§ 562.161 — CIVIL PENALTY FOR VIOLATION OF CEASE AND DESIST ORDER

View on source(a)A person who is found by a court to have violated a cease and desist order issued under Section 562.158 is liable to the state for a penalty. The state may recover the penalty in a civil action.
(b)The penalty may not exceed $50 unless the court finds the violation to be wilful, in which case the penalty may not exceed $500.
