View on source(a)If the department determines that an insurer has violated this subchapter, the department shall issue a cease and desist order to the insurer directing the insurer to stop the unlawful practice.
(b)If the insurer fails to comply with the cease and desist order, the department may:
(1)revoke or suspend the insurer's certificate of authority; or
(2)limit, regulate, and control:
(A)the insurer's line of business;
(B)the insurer's writing of policy forms or other particular forms; and
