View on source(a)The department shall compile the information received from an insurer under Section 542.006 in a manner that enables the department to compare the insurer's performance to a minimum standard of performance adopted by the commissioner.
(b)If the department determines that the insurer does not meet the minimum standard of performance, the department shall investigate the insurer to determine the reason, if any, that the insurer does not meet the minimum standard.
