(a)The comptroller shall deposit maintenance fees collected under this chapter in the general revenue fund to be reallocated to the Texas Department of Insurance operating account.

(b)Amounts in the Texas Department of Insurance operating account may be transferred to the appropriate portion of the general revenue fund in accordance with Section 201.052.
