View on source(a)Except as otherwise provided by law, a person may not perform a test designed to identify HIV or its antigen or antibody without first obtaining the informed consent of the person to be tested.
(b)Consent need not be written if there is documentation in the medical record that the test has been explained and the consent has been obtained.
